Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

Article 1 – Seller

The website poiletco.com is operated by Poil & Co, 6 Rue Mouchot, 37000 Tours, France. Email: contact@poiletco.com.

Article 2 – Scope

These terms apply to every order placed on poiletco.com by a consumer. They are accepted when the order is confirmed. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.

Article 3 – Products

The essential characteristics of each product are presented on its product page. Photos are as accurate as possible; slight variations in color may occur depending on your screen. Offers are valid while stocks last.

Article 4 – Prices

Prices are shown including all taxes. Shipping costs are displayed before the order is confirmed and are added to the price of the products. The price charged is the one displayed when the order is confirmed. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or local taxes may be payable by the recipient. Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined.

Article 5 – Orders

To order, select your items, check your cart summary (products, quantities, prices, shipping costs), enter your details and confirm payment. A confirmation email summarizing your order is sent to you. Poil & Co may cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, a previous payment dispute or an obvious pricing error; you will then be refunded in full.

Article 6 – Payment

Payment is made online when ordering, using the methods offered at checkout. Transactions are secured and processed by our payment providers: Poil & Co never has access to your full card details.

Article 7 – Delivery

Products are delivered to the address given when ordering, in the countries offered at checkout. Shipping costs are displayed before the order is confirmed. A tracking number is sent to you as soon as your order ships. If delivery is late, you may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period and, failing that, cancel the sale and be refunded, in accordance with Articles L216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you, take physical possession of the products.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt of the products to withdraw without giving a reason, a period extended to 30 days by Poil & Co. The procedure, return costs and withdrawal form are set out in our refund policy.

Article 9 – Statutory warranties

All our products are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

Under the statutory warranty of conformity, you have two years from delivery of the goods to act. You may choose between repair and replacement of the goods, under the conditions provided by law. Defects of conformity that appear within 24 months of delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. This warranty applies independently of any commercial warranty.

Under the warranty against hidden defects, you may choose between cancellation of the sale and a price reduction, within two years of discovering the defect.

Article 10 – Use of products

Our products are intended for pets and are not toys for children. Supervise your pet during the first few uses, remove any damaged toy and follow the charging instructions on the product page for battery-powered items.

Article 11 – Personal data

The data collected when you order is necessary to process it. Its use and your rights are described in our privacy policy.

Article 13 – Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, please contact us first so we can find an amicable solution. Failing that, you may refer the matter to the competent court under the conditions provided by law.
